Northeast Regional Cup Series
Premiere Cycling Promotions is pleased to offer sponsorship opportunities for the 2008 Northeast Regional Cup Series.
The Northeast Regional Cup series is made up of nine bicycle races, plus a five day stage race at Mountain Creek in Vernon, NJ and a two day stage race in Ocean County, NJ. Bicycle racing has been an active part of American culture since the 1800’s. Between 1890 and 1930, Newark, NJ was considered the nation’s bike racing capital. While racing enthusiasts remained dedicated, it lost some of its spectator popularity with the start if the great depression. Within the last several decades, it has been reemerging as a popular spectator sport. Road bicycle racing is the most popular form of bicycle racing.
Our goal is to increase participation in this healthy sport by bringing races to local communities, parks, and resorts. We run professional and amateur races including a mid-week training series in South Mountain Reservation, giving newer cyclists a safe place to train. We have also incorporated family runs into some of our events where children and their families can ride around the same professional tracks.
Entire tour of will draw over 10,000 riders including some of the most prestigious riding talent in the Northeast and an increasing number of spectators as the series gains in popularity. Many of the races are surrounded by family-oriented community events and fairs, which draw thousands of their own.
Sponsors will gain positive exposure throughout the state of New Jersey and outlying communities throughout the year. Supporting this healthy, competitive, environmentally-friendly, no-impact sport will reinforce your company’s position on healthy living and achieving personal best and interest in our local communities.
